Wednesday, November 7, 2007 Dogs Can Read?? We asked recently for photos of dog's competing in different dog sports for covers of new products. These photos are too adorable not to share. Raef as a puppy has his nose buried in the book "With Winning in Mind"! Classic! Today we received this email: Hi Heather, Here are a couple of pics. you may like. The first is puppy Raef about to tear the book apart, but I got a good shot before I took it away. The others are Raef one year later successfully competing in agility! A Dog Year. A Dog Year is a movie directed by first time director George LaVoo starring Jeff Bridges. The film should be released in late 2007.[1] The film is based on the memoir by Jon Katz and adapted by LaVoo, the story centers on a man having a midlife crisis whose life is turned upside down when he takes in a border collie crazier than he is. Raef's sire Risin Sun Over Lock Eye, Solar will be one of the dog-stars in "A Dog Year", based on the book written by Jon Katz. This a picture of Jon Katz and Solar at Bedlam Farm.

Layel Is a Cover Girl!

This is a newly published agility suspense novel written by Lydia Filsen. Lydia was looking for a picture of a dog who could represent a border collie named Crash in her book and Layel was it! The book is great and Lydia is clearly an authentic agility person!

Seeing as we keep adding new dogs to our entourage we needed more space! It was time for a trade in on my Winnie and clearly I have hit mid life crisis! We enjoy the RVing as much as the dog showing.

Meet our newest addition, Raef.

This is Raef our newest addition to the family. He is out of Lock Eye River and Rising Sun Over Lock Eye, Solar. Raef will be busy this summer learning to swim and play! He is a VERY smart boy and excelling at clicker training.
